Bed Wetting

The Problem
Your child involuntarily urinates during sleep more often then once a month

Important Information About Bed-Wetting
It is important to understand that bed-wetting is not the child's fault. They do not do it deliberately. Most children are embarrassed and ashamed of wetting their beds and would gladly stop if they could. Therefore, they need support and encouragement, not punishment and shame. In the great majority of cases, the causes of bed-wetting may be caused by urinary tract infection or diabetes. It is quite common in children up until age of 7

Self-Care Measures
Buy disposable, absorbent underwear for your child to wear to bed.

Prevention
Make sure your child urinates before getting into bed at night. Decrease his fluid intake for 2 hours before bedtime.
